Timestables

Camel Times Tables This game from BBC schools is a useful introduction to times tables for KS1. Help Molly to load her camel with the right amount of food for her trip. There are three levels: Medium, Hard and Really Hard. In the Medium level you will count in 2s and 10s. In the Hard level it's 3s and 5s. Really Hard uses a mixture of 2s, 3s, 5s and 10s but instead of counting you have to choose the correct sum.

Cloud Multiplication Game This game from eChalk lets you choose which times table to practise up to 12x or you can choose a mixture. The question appears at the top and you have to click the cloud with the correct answer on it. You will gain points depending on your speed and accuracy and will be rewarded with a fireworks display. Spitfire Tables Game You can test your knowledge of 2x to 9x tables in this game from ICT Games. Use your arrow keys to steer the spitfire towards the answer, then press your space key to fire. Buzzy Bee This is a quick and simple game to help you practise all of your times tables from 1x to 10x in order. First click on the white box that Buzzy Bee is carrying then type your answer to 1 x 1. You don't have to press enter. If you're right, Buzzy moves onto the next slot in the grid and you can type your answer to 2 x 1. See how quickly you can fill the grid. Fraction Flags Game

You can decide whether to make your flag with halves, quarters or a mixture of fractions. The next step is to design your own flag by painting it in different colours, making sure that the number of squares you paint in each colour matches the fraction shown.

Fraction Lesson

This is not really a game, more a series of interactive lessons which take you from "What is a Fraction?" to "Add/Subtract Fractions and Mixed Numbers". A good resource for revision which covers a lot of ground.

Fraction Monkeys

Hang each monkey in the correct place n the fraction numberline. You may have to find the lowest common denominator, e.g hang the 1/2 monkey where it says 2/4 on the numberline. There are two levels, easy and harder. If you hang a monkey in the wrong place he will fall off!

In this game from the Family Education Network you get to practise your fraction addition and subtraction knowledge. Work out the answer to the fraction question then click the correct bug. As you progress through the levels the game gets harder and you have to convert the fractions.

In this game from Count On you practise finding a fraction of a number. You can play it as a two-player game or a single player can play against the computer.

Fractions of a Quantity

This activity takes you step-by-step through the process of working out a fraction of a quantity. For example, to find 4/5 of 35 it will first ask you to enter the answer to 35 divided by 5, then move on to ask you what is 7 times 4. There's a numberline at the bottom to help.

Fraction Test
